Altar Servers

The Altar Servers assist the priest and deacons during the parish liturgies and is open to anyone in the third grade or older who has received First Communion may be an Altar Server. Training is provided.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest and deacon in the distribution of Holy Communion under both species at all Masses. They also bring Holy Communion to the sick and shut-ins, as needed.


Lectors proclaim God’s word at Mass by reading the Word of God from the Bible in a way that will help the congregation fully appreciate and understand the message God is sending forth.


Sacristans are responsible for preparation of the Altar before each Mass. Training is provided and meetings are held when needed.


Ushers assist at Mass and liturgical services by greeting people and controlling their seating and movement before and during the service. They also conduct the offertory collection, communion processions and Sunday Bulletin (and other materials) distribution after Mass.
